Canadian Experience Class
You may be able to apply for permanent residence in the Canadian Experience Class (“CEC”) if you have qualifying experience as a Canadian student and/or worker.
You may apply in the CEC if you are a foreign worker with 1) at least two years of full time, or full time equivalent, qualifying Canadian skilled work experience in the last three years, and 2) an adequate score on the International English Language Testing System (“IELTS”) exam.
Student Stream
You may apply in the CEC if you are a foreign student who has 1) completed a qualifying program of study in Canada of at least two years and obtained a Canadian educational credential, and, 3) completed at least one year of full time, or full time equivalent, skilled work experience in Canada in the last two years, and 3) obtained an adequate score on the International English Language Testing System (“IELTS”) exam.
