Maria Espinoza

Paralegal

Maria never shies away from a challenge. After a first career as a lawyer in her native Venezuela supporting parents and legal guardians facing childrearing challenges and leading education programs for underserved communities to learn about their legal rights, she uprooted herself to start all over again in Canada, and has built a second career as an immigration paralegal. We’re pretty glad she did. On the side, she has worked promoting social justice for children and the rights of girls in developing countries, perfected her snowboarding skills, travelled the world and done enough baking to open a small bakery.
