Dennis McCrea

Our founder Dennis retired in 2020 after more than 45 years of practicing law, and we’re proud to carry on his legacy.

A leading member of the Canadian legal community and a pioneer in the practice of immigration law, Dennis was called to the bar before the rest of us were born. He represented clients before almost every level of court and tribunal in the land, and was for decades recognized by his peers as one of Canada's best immigration lawyers. He has a lot of important-sounding letters after his name, and was voted the firm's "best-looking in camouflage" year after year during his time here.

Dennis made a career of rescuing clients from difficult legal situations. These days, if you ever find yourself in trouble on the high seas, you might end up being rescued by Dennis as he volunteers as a Coast Guard Auxiliary officer.
